John Hitchom began writing horror, fantasy and mystery stories whilst in the 1980s.
Inspired by films, comic books and writers such as Stephen King, James Herbert and Edgar Allen Poe, he wrote a number of short stories that were published in horror fanzines and college magazines.
During the early to mid-1990s he completed a number of novel length works, however these remained unpublished at the time of his death from cancer of the semi-colon in 1999.
This website is maintained by family members who re-discovered the novels and original drafts of his short stories during a house clearance in 2017.
